It was on the last Friday that Paul Pelosi (82), husband of the US parliament speaker Nancy Pelosi was attacked by the intruder, David Wayne DePape. The hammered Paul Pelosi was left with a skull fracture and has been hospitalized immediately.
Immediately after the attack, the Police Chief of San Francisco summoned a press conference to reveal the accused and the intentional nature of the attack. And now as per the records, the 42 years old, Berekely, California-based DePape has been charged with an intentional homicide attempt.
Info from several unofficial sources says that the intruder was in search of the speaker, Nancy Pelosi and it was confirmed with the suspect shouting “Where is Nancy” on intruding the house in San Francisco.
David Depape Is Charged With Attempting To Commit Intentional Homicide
David DePape has now been charged with crimes such as elderly abuse, housebreaking, menacing a public official’s family member, deterring an eyewitness from reporting the incident and revealing the suspect, vandalizing household possessions, assault using fatal weapons, and murder attempt. The medical condition of Paul Pelosi is satisfactory according to hospital officials.
A spokesperson from the Pelosi family reports about a skull surgery that Pelosi had to undergo for recovery from the attack. Nancy Pelosi, the intended target of the assailant was in Washington for official purposes when the attack took place.
David DePape is currently accommodated in the local jail from Friday, 1:27 PM. Brooke Jenkins, the San Francisco District Attorney has also spoken up regarding the issue and the legal acquisitions and charges that are possible to be imposed upon the assailant through his Twitter account on Friday.
As per his reports, prosecutors in collaboration with the local federal authorities will be in charge of listing and imposing the various possible felony charges upon David DePape. The authorities are quite determined in serving the highest possible punishment verdict to the alleged.
