Ohev Shalom Sisterhood Safari Bingo & Dinner

Ohev Shalom’s Sisterhood is hosting Safari Bingo and Dinner on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Ohev Shalom of Bucks County in Richboro, PA. Wear your favorite leopard print or safari patterned shirt for a fun filled night. Registration and Boutique ticket sales start at 5:15 PM followed by dinner at 6:15 PM. The first Bingo number will be called at 7:15 PM. In addition to bingo and dinner, the event will feature boutique baskets, a 50/50 contest, specials, and much fun!

An internationally renowned Israeli singer, Achinoam Nini (know outside of Israel as Noa) is praised for her superb artistry and humanitarianism. Inspired by her Letters to Bach—a 12-piece selection of Bach’s instrumental music with Noa’s contemporary lyrics and messages—Noa and her long-standing musical collaborator and guitarist Gil Dor bring to the stage a selection of their diverse and inspiring repertoire in English, Hebrew, and Yemenite, accented by Noa’s exciting percussion playing.

Bucks County Synagogue Builds a Virtual Community

As are many religious institutions, the synagogue is using the Zoom platform for weekday and Sabbath worship. Working from their homes, Ohev Shalom synagogue clergy and lay leaders have decided to expand outreach via a variety of communication and social media platforms to ensure all members of the synagogue’s community are heard from and cared for during these difficult times.
Rabbi Eliott Perlstein meets with congregants on Tuesday afternoons for a Zoom Torah discussion and for virtual coffee and conversation on Thursday afternoons. Cantor Annelise Ocanto-Romo and son join parents and children on Zoom every Wednesday morning for Circle Time. On Wednesday afternoons Cantor hosts a sing-along.
