The Tripartite Jerusalem: Identities and Group Relations Reexamined

You are invited to attend this free lecture exploring Jerusalem’s internal divisions and group relations from the perspective of an anthropologist and organizational psychologist from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Chen Bram is a fellow at Penn’s Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies this semester. His work focuses on issues of diversity, multiculturalism, and ethnic relations in Israeli and other societies, but extends to immigration, Islam and ethnicity in the Caucasus, diaspora peoples, and anthropology of the Jews. He has held teaching and research fellowship roles at Clark University, Michigan State University, the University of Florida at Gainesville, the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, the David Yelin Academic College of Education in Jerusalem, and the Yad Vashem Institute for Holocaust Research.
