Due to the pandemic, the Gershman Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival (GPJFF) was unfortunately forced to cancel its planned showing of RESISTANCE early this March. The film, available to rent on various streaming platforms for as little as $4.99, tells the remarkable true story of Marcel Marceau, the famed mime who joined the French Resistance and helped thousands of Jewish orphaned children escape from Nazi-occupied Europe.
On Thursday, August 27 at 7 PM EDT, GPJFF will host a FREE live virtual discussion with the director of the film, Jonathan Jakubowicz, and two of its stars, Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg (THE SOCIAL NETWORK, NOW YOU SEE ME) and Géza Röhrig (SON OF SAUL, TO DUST).
The discussion will take place on our Crowdcast platform. All you have to do is register through there, click on “Save my spot!”, and you’re all set! Crowdcast will send you reminders leading up to the event.
If you would like to make a donation for the event (suggested amount: $10), you may do so through our donation page and enter the amount separately at https://sforce.co/3kpNLLJ
