KI Music Arts: The Cheryl Beth Silverman Memorial Concert II

The Main Line Symphony Orchestra returns to KI with a program perfectly aligned with RECYCLING and
PRESERVATION (jointly programmed with Temple Judea Museum, KI Green Faith Committee, The Philadelphia Academy of Natural Science and The
Schuylkill Nature Center) of musical ideas through inspiration, nature and mentoring. Artistic Director and Conductor Don Luzzi and the MLSO will perform audience favorites:
Leonard Bernstein: Suite from “On the Waterfront”
Aaron Copland: Lincoln Portrait with Narrator
Camille Saint-Saëns Havanese: Opus 83, Mvt.1
Soloist: Angelina Phillips, violin, co-winner of The James Dietz Memorial Concerto Competition Randall Thompson: 2nd Symphony
