DR, SAUNDRA EPSTEIN
A HEROIC WOMAN FOR EVERY NIGHT OF HANNUKAH
There are many wonderful women who are part of our Jewish historical narrative. Some you know well, but others not so well, and too many not at all. We will look at the many different aspects of heroism exemplified by our foremothers who judged and gave advice, taught important lessons through perseverance and may even have had understandable temper tantrums for righteous causes. You will learn about an aspect of heroism and a heroine for each of the eight candles of Hannukah. This will be a text study session with sources.
