I recently got an interesting email from my health insurance company, Aetna.
We'd love to hear from you about your opinion of the Member Essentials newsletter. Please take a few short minutes to participate in the following
and give us your feedback. Your answers will be kept confidential (you don't even need to give us your name). The information you provide will be used to help us improve future editions of the newsletter. Thank you!
Isn't it refreshing to have a company concerned about our privacy. They say we don't even have to give my name. Why don't we click on it?
When we take their survey, the URL (web address) which pops up on my browser includes a survey identification code "survey?surveyId=MTkyNzgS1" followed by an individual identification code "IndividualID=3751267317566679".
Well that explains why I do not have to enter my name. They already know it.
Welcome to a brave new world.
